Despite a broken toe I finished this 100 mile section. For now I’m headed home to recuperate and get ready for the next 300 mile section – Castle Crags at mile 1500 to Crater Lake at mile 1820!

What were we thinking? Neither of us did any physical preparation…figuring we could get our trail legs…by hiking! Well, first 50 miles went well, but things changed on the second 50! Check out the next post!
